Design-Build and Install GSA's Solar Photovoltaic System
Otay Mesa Point of Entry, CA
HAI was the prime contractor for this design-build and install PV system project at the Otay Mesa Port of Entry Administrative Export Truck Inspection Building. The 274 kW PV system utilized solar panels made of crystalline silicon (c-Si) modules and was designed to produce enough power to supply 75 to 80% of the daily electrical consumption for the entire facility.
Design-Build New Construction of Duplex Beach Cottages
Naval Air Station, North Island, CA
This project entailed the design and construction of ten duplex beach cottages at Naval Air Station, North Island, California. Each building provides two units that are mirror images of each other. Each contains approximately 1,000 SF of space. Construction elements included grading, asphalt paving, site utilities, landscaping, framing, roofing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, cable television and communications.

Design-Build CVN Warehouse Reconfiguration
Naval Base Coronado, San Diego, CA
This design-build project entailed the consolidation of the CVN Warehouse with an existing 30,000 SF warehouse. The scope of work includes asbestos and lead abatement, demolition, renovation of existing offices, new office addition, patching and epoxy coating, repair and refurbish glass windows, installation of new LED lighting system, and other low voltage electrical work.
Design-Build New Construction of Child Care Center
Naval Air Station, North Island
HIA was the prime contractor for the design and construction of the 5,000 SF new Child Development Center (CDC). Scope of work included site and civil work, underground electrical, underground water, grading, slab on grade, framing, roofing, window and door installation, electrical, plumbing, insulation, drywall, painting, carpentry, HVAC, countertops, flooring, paving, landscaping, signage, interior design and state-of-the art CCTV and security system.
Interior repairs to Building 41359
Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, CA
Hugo Alonso (HAI) was the prime contractor in this interior renovation project that consisted of repairs to accommodate and relocate the Marine Corps Exchange (MCX), Subway, and Barber Shop at Building 41359 Existing Storage and Maintenance Building at MCB Camp Pendleton. The main features of work included demolition, structural repairs, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, telecommunications, flooring, wall covering, painting, drywall, framing, lighting, acoustical ceiling panels, bathroom accessories, and door and hardware replacement.
HAI received an Outstanding Performance Evaluation from NAVFAC.
Design-Build Renovate Training Facility First and Second

Naval Amphibious Base, San Diego, CA
HAI served as the prime contractor in this design-build renovation project for two Training Facilities at NAB, San Diego. Features of work on this project consisted of demolition, flooring, drywall, painting, FF&E, bathroom fixtures, bathroom partitions, cabinets, lighting, suspended ceiling, electrical work, doors and frames and the design and installation of a fire sprinkler system.
HAI received an Outstanding Performance Evaluation and NAVFAC STAR Award.
